Although dual soot blowing method is adopted, because the low temperature section of rotary GGH is easy to block up, the form of steam soot blowing is being adopted.
Of course, when high sulfur coal is used, the acid dew point of flue gas is higher. In this case, the use of steam soot blowing is not conducive to the heating surface and barrier, and the water brought by the soot steam will aggravate the acid corrosion of the heating surface. If the travel mechanism of the sootblower is jammed, the impact of steam on the part will affect the life of the component. At the same time, the washing water will also condense on the heating surface and dilute the acid dew to dilute acid, thus aggravating corrosion. Although steam soot blowing has the above disadvantages, it has better soot blowing effect than compressed air because of the high steam pressure, high temperature and strong impact. Compressed air has a low water vapor content, but its temperature is lower, and its impact force is lower than that of steam, which has a bad effect on ash removal. In addition, because the steam consumption of soot blowing is large (about 3t/h), and the compressed air system is difficult to bear, it is appropriate to use steam as soot blowing medium than compressed air.
